Important Installation Information

Not For Installtion In A Convertible. The installation of this retrofit kits requires one of the following;
  • The use of an existing threaded reinforced two bolt hole, single bolt hole or a factory reinforced threaded weldnut located between an inner and outer steel body panel located on the lower roof panel or pillar post in order to be able to attach the shoulder harness strap mounting bracket.
  • The creation of the attachment point for the shoulder harness strap mounting bracket which requires that there is an inner and outer steel body panel located on the lower roof or pillar post where there is access and space between and behind these inner and outer steel body panels in order insert and attach a supplied threaded reinforcing plate by either welding or using supplied rivets.



    Stud plates and mounting bolts used to convert an existing factory two bolt mounting point to a single stud mounting point required to attach the shoulder harness strap upper bracket are included. All seat belts and hardware are new with all seat belts manufactured or assembled in the USA with USA certification tag confirming compliance with current FMVSS(Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209 and 302.

  • Includes: Seat belts for driver and passenger, installation hardware and instructions.
  • Buckle: Metal. Measures 2" x 1 7/8" not including webbing slot.
  • Bucket seat kits include 12" contoured molded plastic buckle side sleeve.
  • Front Center/Rear Seat Belt Length 60": Adjustable latch side 36". Fixed buckle side 24".
  • Front Center/Rear Seat Belt Length 74": Adjustable latch side 40". Fixed buckle side 34".

    Rear Seat Mounting Hardware
  • MH4 Standard Mounting kit includes zinc chromate bolts, washers, nuts and oversize underbody reinforcing washers.
  • 201K Retrofit Mounting Kit includes zinc chromate bolts, washers plus threaded underbody reinforcing plates to add support to the mounting points which should be used when installing a seat belt in a location they were not previously dealer or factory installed. A standard mounting kit is not required when ordering.
