1968-73 Mustang Conversion Kits

Not For Installation In A Convertible.
This conversion kit for the 1968-73 Mustang is designed to be used to upgrade from an existing non retractable or retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness,to replace an existing independant non retractable or retractable lap seat belt and shoulder harness or to replace a existing damaged or missing retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness with a web sensitive automatic locking combination retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness. All seat belts and hardware are new with all seat belts manufactured or assembled in the USA with USA certification tag confirming compliance with all current FMVSS(Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209 and 302. Important Installtion Infformation
  • The installation of this kit requires the use of existing underbody reinforced lap seat belt mounting points.
  • This kit requires the use of factory reinforced shoulder harness strap upper bracket attachment points which would be a single threaded 7/16-20 bolt hole or a non threaded bolt hole with 7-16-20 weldnut that is located between the lower roof or upper door post inner and outer steel panels.
  • This kit does not include the body reinforcing plates for the lap seat belt and upper shoulder harness bracket attachment points.

  • Includes seat belts for driver and passenger, installation hardware and instructions.
  • Buckle: Metal. Polished top. Chrome body. Measures 2" long long(not including webbing slot) x 1 7/8" wide.
  • Set includes 12" contoured molded plastic buckle side sleeves.
  • Rear Seat Belt 60": Adjustable latch side 36". Fixed buckle side 24".

    Rear Seat Mounting Hardware
  • MH4 Standard Mounting Kit includes zinc chromate bolts, washers, nuts and oversize underbody reinforcing washers.
  • 201K Retrofit Mounting Kit includes zinc chromate bolts, washers plus threaded underbody reinforcing plates to add support to the mounting points which should be used when installing a seat belt in a location they were not previously dealer or factory installed. A standard mounting kit is not required when ordering.
