Seat Belts With Safety Orange High Visibility Webbing


Black webbing blends with clothing or the vehicle interior making it difficult to monitor seat belt use which is why most local and over the road trucks are equiped with seat belts using safety orange webbing so that roving safety supervisors can clearly see if the driver is complying with mandated seat belt use.

To add retractability to a lap seat belt a chrome (Item Number 80296) and a black plastic(Item Number CR1) clip on webbing retractor are available.

When installing a seat belt in a location that did not previously have a seat belt installed it recommended that a RB1 underbody and/or a RB3 shoulder harness reinforcement plate with attached weld nut be used to support the mounting points.

Special Note:
All of the seat belts that are listed with a chrome lift lid release buckle can be mixed and all the seat belts with a pushbutton buckle can be mixed to accommodate most installations requirement.

  • On the chrome lift buckle belt:When the 25" long buckle end is attached the overall belt length is 119" long.

  • A standard 4-point is adjustable on both sides of the lap belt and at one location on each shoulder harness strap.
  • The buckle is a pushbutton with a plastic cover and a metal underside.
  • Not SFI certified for racing. The webbing is 1 15/16th wide automotive type.
  • The lap belt portion when fully extended measures 52"long.
  • The shoulder harness strap extends 61" from where it is sewn to the lap seat belt.
