Retrofit Retractable With 1950-60's Style Lift Buckle



Retractable retrofit lap belt with or without an attached shoulder harness strap that utilizes a 1950-60's style chrome lift lid buckle maintaining the correct period style appearance that has been manufactured using current safety guidelines and uses modern type retractor for convenience of use.

The retractor used on both the retractable lap belt and the retractable lap belt with shoulder harness are compact that require only 3" of clearance for mounting allowing easy access to a rear seat.

The retractable lap belt retractor is the self locking design which locks in place once pulled to the desired position and to release back to the retractor the webbing must be pulled out past the locked position. The retractable lap belt with shoulder harness uses a web sensitive type retractor that will allows movement within the vehicle but will lock automatically based on pre-designed tension.

Retrofit mounting kits including required lower,underbody and or shoulder harness reinforcements,L-brackets and bolt are available for the retractable seat belts and a standard bolt kit or retrofit mounting kit with reinforcement plates are available for the rear non-retractable seat belts.

Matching non-retractable lap belts are also listed for use in a bench seat front center or for use in all rear seat positions.

    Specifications/Information
  • The plastic pieces are black regardless of the webbing color.
  • The inner buckle end included with the bench seat belts is a floppy non-sleeved design to allow it to slide between the seat back and bottom gap.
  • The inner buckle end included with the bucket seat belts has a rigid sleeve to maintain its upright position for easy access.
  • The buckle is on the outer adjustable side of the matching non-retractable lap belts.
  • Retrofit mounting kits including required mounting hardware and reinforcement plates are available for the retractable seat belts.
  • Standard bolt and retrofit mounting kits with reinforcement plates are available for the rear non-retractable seat belts.
