Retrofit Retractable w/Pushbutton Buckle

Retractable lap belt or retractable lap belt with an attached shoulder harness strap that have been specifically designed to retrofit in to most vehicles prior to seat belts being factory or dealer installed.The retrofit seat belts listed can also be used to upgrade from a non-retractable seat belt to a retractable one.

Manufactured and configured so that the shoulder harness end anchor plate attaches to the rear of the floor retractor which is bolted to an L-bracket which avoids the drilling of an interior trim panel and/or an additional floor mountng hole. The retractors are compact and require only 3" of clearance.

The retractable lap belt utilizes a locking type retractor which locks in place once pulled to the required position and the retractable type used on the lap belt with shoulder harness is web sensitive which allows for movement within the vehicle but locks automatically based on pre-designed tension.All of the plastic pieces including the retractor cover,buckle,buckle end cover and shoulder harness sash guide cover are color matched to the webbing color except for on the red belts,where these pieces are black.Matching non-retractable lap belts are also listed for use in a center or rear seat position.

Retrofit mounting kits including the required lower underbody and/or shoulder harness reinforcements plates,L-brackets, attachment bolts and/or shoulder harness shoulder bolts to install 2 seat belts are available when the installation is in a vehicle that did not have belts previously installed. Also available are standard mounting kits that include bolts,washers,nuts and one L-bracket to install one seat belt.

The shoulder harness mounting anchor brackets are available with either a 2 1/2" or 8 1/2" bracket offset.The offset selected should be based on the distance between the harness mounting point and the seated occupant.

In most cases,when installing a retrofit seat belt the length and style of the buckle end that is include in the bucket or bench seat set listed will be correctly sized for the application with the bucket seat set including a 12" buckle end with a hard plastic sleeve and the bench seat set including a 18" non-sleeved buckle end.

For rear seats and in the event a different length or style buckle end is required a retractable lap belt and a retractable lap belt with an attached shoulder harness with a 2 1/2" offset are listed that do not include a buckle end and require a selection of the buckle end style and length to complete the seat belt set.

Non-retractable lap belt that matches the webbing color and buckle style that is used on the retrofit seat belts listed above that can be used in the front center or in a rear seat position.The non-retractable seat belts listed are available in overall lengths of 60",74",and 90".The plastic pieces are color coded to the webbing color except for the red where these pieces are black.Required one WSMH2 bolt kit per belt.
