Recreational Vehicle Seat Belts

Non retractable and retractable seat belts with or with out a shoulder harness that are available for bench, bucket, pedestal or sofa seats designed to replace a damaged or missing factory installed seat belt or to upgrade from a non retractable or retractable lap seat belt to a retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness in a class A, class B, class C motorhome, conversion van, bus conversion and other recreational vehicles.

All of the seat belts and related hardware are new and manufactured to meet or exceed FMVSS (U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209 and 302 with all seat belts manufactured or assembled in the USA.

When installing a seat belt where it was not previously installed or when a factory underbody or shoulder harness reinforcement plate is damaged or missing it is suggested that a RB1-1(each) or RB1(pair) underbody and or a RB3 shoulder harness reinforcement plate with attached weld nut be used to add support to all of the mounting points.


The bucket/pedestal seat retractable lap seat belt retractor and buckle side are mounted to the side of or slightly behind the seat on to an L-bracket which is required to mount the retractor upright, or directly to the seat frame depending on the application. A minimum clearance of 3 1/2" is required between where the retractor will be mounted and any interior trim panel to accommodate the size of the retractor.

The bucket/pedestal seat retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness includes a retractor that can be mounted directly on to a flat interior trim panel or at the floor to a L-bracket. The L-bracket is required in order to mount the retractor upright. To accommodate the size of the retractor a minimum clearance of 3 1/2" is required between where the retractor will be mounted and any interior trim panel.

The bench/sofa seat retractable lap seat belt retractor side is mounted to the side of a seat to an L-bracket which is required to mount the retractor upright, or directly to the seat frame depending on the application. The buckle side goes through the gap between the seat back and the seat bottom to a floor mounting location. A minimum clearance of 3 1/2" is required between where the retractor will be mounted and any interior trim panel to accommodate the size of the retractor.

The bench/sofa seat retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness requires a minimum clearance of 3 1/2" between the side of the seat and any interior trim panel to allow for clearance for the retractor. The retractor can be mounted directly on to a flat interior trim panel or at the floor to a L-bracket. The L-bracket is required in order to mount the retractor upright. The buckle side goes through the gap between the seat back and seat bottom to a floor mounting location.

Matching non retractable lap seat belts are available in extended lengths of 60",74" or 90" for use on a bench or sofa seat or where a retractable seat belt is not required.
