Since 1985, Andover Restraints, the seat belt division of The Andover Companies Inc has been one of the leading retail and wholesale suppliers of forklift seat belts end release cable buckle or bracket side seat belts with an open or closed micro safety switches for most Caterpillar, Hyster, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Sellick, Toyota and Yale order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks and sideloader style fork lifts. All of the retractors are (ALR) automatic locking that lock when released at the required position and must be released back to the retractor to re-adjust the extended length. The retractors are covered with a hard plastic boot to protect the inner components from damage, dirt and dust.

If a factory seat belt mounting reinforcing plate is damaged or missing a RB4 flat threaded reinforcing plate with corner rivet holes can be used to add support to the mounting locations. When purchasing a RB4 reinforcing plate seat belt mounting kits are not required. Order one MH1 bolt per RB4 reinforcing plate.

The Difference Between A Closed And Open Circuit Misco safety Switch;
  • A closed circuit,when wired, requires that the latch(male side) be inserted in to the buckle to complete the circuit in order to be able to start the forklift.
  • A open circuit,when wired, does not require the latch(male side) be inserted in to the buckle in order to start the forklift. If wired to a buzzer or to an alarm they will sound until the latch(male side) is inserted in to the buckle or if wired to a dash lamp the lamp will stay illuminated until the latch(male side) is inserted in to the buckle.

  • Available with black and safety orange webbing.
  • Except for the red press, all of the plastic pieces are black regardless of the webbing color.
