Retractable Lap Seat Belt Choices
General Information
The belts listed can be used for the driver or passenger side installation and are sold each/per person.
The retractor used is an automatic locking(ALR) type which locks when the latch has been pulled to the desired length and released. Once locked, in order to change the length the latch must be released back to the retractor.
Always use factory mounting point when possible.

The seat belts listed are universal fit with no electrical wiring and are not guaranteed to fit all applications or to match any interior color.

Buckle End Selection
A buckle end with a plastic sleeve is used in a vehicle with bucket seats to hold the buckle end upright.
A buckle end without a plastic sleeve is used in a vehicle with bench type seat so it slides between the seat back and bottom.
Boot Length Selection
If the seat bottom is higher off the floor than normal the 7" retractor boot will raise the height that the latch exits the retractor housing making it easier to reach.If there any question as to which length boot to purchase the 4" retractaor boot is what most installation will require.
The boot length is measured end to end when laying flat.

Retractable Lap And Shoulder Harness Seat Belt Choices

The retractors utilized are emergency locking(ELR) type which have an inertia reel which is web sensitive locking the retractor instantly on a sudden movement of the webbing.
Always use factory mounting point when possible.

Shoulder Harness Mounting Configuration Selection
A harness belt without a door post extension is used in a convertible or when the retractor will be mounted behind the shoulder below the window.
A harness belt with a 2 1/2" or a 8 1/2" door post extension in a matter of preference. The 8 1/2" door post extension is mostly used when the harness mounting point is higher than in a normal passenger which lowers the webbing making the position that it comes across the neck more comfortable.
Length Selection
110" is the most common fully extended length when the seat belt being installed has 2 1/2" door post extension and the harness mounting bracket is located below the window or the vehicle does not have a door post above the lower part of the window.
140" is the most common fully extended length when the seat belt being installed has a 2 1/2" or 8 1/2" door post extension and the harness mounting bracket is located on the roof or above the window on a door post.
