1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1972 Mercedes non retractable lap seat belts with the original style aviator lift lid release buckle.All of the seat belts and related hardware listed are new and manufactured to meet or exceed FMVSS (U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209,302 and SAE 386 with all of the seat belts manufactured or assembled in the USA.



The 1953 to 1972 Mercedes seat belts utilize a buckle with metal to metal contact and a spring hinged lid that is available with a bright chrome or polished satin lift lid with both buckles having a bright chrome underside.

The polished chrome end fittings are available as a "sister hook" that attaches to a floor mounted eyebolt or as fixed end that bolts direct to the floor.

The seat belt measurements listed are approximate and measured from end to end with the seat belt buckled.The buckle side of the seat belt has pull through webbing length adjustability.

To add retractability to one side of each seat belt the original style chrome "Roll-A-Belt" metal clip on webbing retractor (80296) is available. A clip on bolt head cover (CVR100) are available in black or tan that can be painted to match any interior color for use with the fixed anchor end seat belts to cover the bolt head and the anchor end for a finished look.

Note: When installing a seat belt where it was not previously installed it is suggested that a retrofit mounting kit be used which include underbody reinforcement plates to add support to the mounting points. If an original underbody reinforcement plate is damaged or missing RB1 or RB1-1 underbody reinforcement plate(s) with attached weld nut can be used as a replacement. Standard mounting kits and underbody reinforcement plates are not required when ordering a retrofit mounting kit.
