1958 to 1966 Chevrolet non retractable seat belts with the original aviator style buckle with a spring hinged bright chrome lift up release lid with metal to metal contact and a bright chrome buckle underside. All of the seat belts and related hardware listed are new and manufactured to meet or exceed FMVSS (U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209,302 and SAE 386 with most manufactured or assembled in the USA.

The webbing is the original appearance style with four equal rows. The floor mounting anchor ends are bright chrome and bolt directly to the floor. A paintable anchor end cover that snaps on to the mounting bolt head to cover both the bolt and the anchor end are available for a finished look.

The webbing color selection available in a new 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1966 Chevrolet was limited to a couple of colors and was matched to the color of the carpet. To offer a more complete selection of colors, in addition to seat belts with webbing colors that are matched to the carpet, seat belts are listed with webbing colors to match most of the colors used in an original multi-color interior.

Note: When installing a seat belt where it was not previously installed it is suggested that a retrofit mounting kits be used which include underbody reinforcement plates to add support to the mounting points. If an original underbody reinforcement plate is damaged or missing a RB1 or RB1-1 replacement underbody reinforcement plate with attached weld nut can be used. Standard mounting kits and reinforcement plates are not required when ordering a retrofit mounting kit.

Webbing colors tend to vary from mill run to mill run therefore a match to upholstery or carpet can not be guaranteed.
