When installing a seat belt where it was not previously installed it is suggested that an RB1-1(each) or RB1(pair) underbody reinforcement plate with attached weld nut be used to add support to all of the mounting points.Webbing colors tend to vary from mill run to mill run therefore a match to upholstery or carpet can not be guaranteed.If a color match to an existing interior is required it is suggested that a webbing sample be ordred.


1958-66 Chevrolet seat belt webbing was originally matched to the carpet color do to all of the colors that were used in the multi-color interiors and only available in a limited carpet color selection. To allow a for a greater selection of webbing colors seat belts are now avaialble with webbing colors that are matched to most of original multi-color interior plus webbing colors that are matched to the carpet.

The buckle design is the original aviator style with a spring hinged bright chrome lift up release lid with metal to metal contact with a bright chrome buckle underside with a rectangular latch cut-out. The floor mounting anchor ends are bright chrome and bolt directly to the floor.The webbing is the original style 4-bar design and the tread color is matched to the webbing color.

An anchor end cover that snaps on to the mounting bolt head to cover both the bolt and the anchor end are available for a finished look plus the original style chrome "Roll-A-Belt and a replacement plastic clip-on webbing retractor are available. Mounting kit choices include a MH4 standard or a 203K retrofit mounting kit which includes replacement underbody reinforcement plates.
