Original Style 1955-57 Seat Belts Universal Fit Lift Buckle Belts Universal Fit Push Button Belts
1955 1956 and 1957 Chevrolet retrofit seat belts designed to add a retractable lap seat belt or a retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness where not previously installed with webbing colors to match most interiors. All of the seat belts and related hardware are new and manufactured to meet or exceed FMVSS (U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209,302 and SAE 386 with most manufactured or assembled in the USA.

The front seat retractable lap only seat belts utilize an automatic locking compact retractor and are available with a vintage chrome lift lid or a standard or deluxe modern push button buckle.

The front seat retrofit retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness kits are available for hardtops and convertibles with bucket or bench seats and have a modern web sensitive retractor which allows for some movement but locks automatically based on a pre-designed tension. The available buckle options are a vintage chrome lift lid and a standard or deluxe push button. The retrofit retractable kits include the driver and passengers seat belts, mounting hardware including required reinforcing plates and installation instructions.

Matching non retractable lap seat belts in all of the buckle styles are offered that can be used on a bench seat front center position or on all of the rear seat positions.

Webbing colors tend to vary from mill run to mill run therefore a match to upholstery or carpet can not be guaranteed.

Vintage Chrome Lift Lid Buckle Seat Belts

  • The buckle is a vintage style with a bright chrome lift lid and bright chrome underside.
