1953-67 Cadillac non retractable lap seat belts that have been designed to be similar in appearance to the original seat belts with 4 bar equal row webbing that were dealer installed in Cadillacs from 1953 to 1962 and factory installed from 1963 to 1967 with webbing colors to match most original interiors. All of the seat belts and related hardware are new and manufactured to meet or exceed FMVSS (U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209,302 and SAE 386 with all of the seat belts being manufactured or assembled in the USA.


The floor mounting anchor ends are bright chrome and bolt directly to the floor. Anchor end covers that snaps on to the mounting bolt head to cover both the bolt and the anchor end that can be painted to match the interior are available for a finished look.

In addition to the original style aviator chrome lift lid buckle with a spring hinged metal to metal contact closing devise, as an option, seat belts with the same specifications except that the buckle lid is satin aluminum have also been listed.

To add retractability to one side of a 1953-67 Cadillac seat belt an original style metal clip-on webbing "Roll-A Belt" (80296) retractor and a replacement (CR1) black plastic retractor are available.

Note: When installing a seat belt where it was not previously installed it is suggested that a retrofit mounting kit be used which include underbody reinforcement plates to add support to the mounting points. If an original underbody reinforcement plate is damaged or missing RB1 or RB1-1 underbody reinforcement plate(s) with attached weld nut can be used as a replacement. Standard mounting kits and underbody reinforcement plates are not required when ordering a retrofit mounting kit.
