1968-73 Mustang Coupe And Convertible Seat Belts

1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Ford Mustang coupe and convertible front and rear non retractable lap seat belts, front retractable lap seat belts and front and rear retrofit retractable lap seat belt with shoulder harness kits with webbing colors to match most original interior colors. The buckle styles available include a vintage chrome lift lid or vintage black hammertone lift lid release, a standard push button with a red or black press area background and a deluxe OEM style all metal push button with a starburst design on the press area.Click on pictures for enlarged view.

All of the seat belts and related hardware are new and manufactured to meet or exceed FMVSS (U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209 and 302 with all of the seat belts manufactured or assembled in the USA.

Non Retractable Lap Seat Belts: The non retractable vintage chrome lift lid buckle (W8237 Series), standard push button (W8202 Series) and deluxe push button (8207-60 Series) lap seat belts listed can be used in the front or rear and measure approximately 60" long end to end. An original style chrome "Roll-A-Belt" clip on webbing retractor is available to add retractability to the outboard side of a front seat belt. One MH2-YZ (yellow zinc) or MH2-Z (zinc chromate) mounting kit is required per lap seat belt.

The vintage buckle (W8237 Series) seat belts are also available with an optional black hammertone lift lid and the standard push button buckle (W8202 Series) seat belts are available with an optional black background with white press buckle. Contact us to order.

Retractable Front Lap Seat Belts:The front seat vintage chrome lift lid (W8246 Series), standard push button (W8273 Series) and deluxe push button (W8285 Series) buckle retractable lap seat belts utilize a compact ALR automatic locking retractor. One 200K mounting kit which includes a L-bracket which is required to mount the retractor upright to the floor between the side of the seat and the door.
