1968-73 Mustang Seat Belts
When installing a seat belt where it was not previously installed or if the factory underbody reinforcement plates are damaged or missing it is suggested that a RB1-1(each) or RB1(pair) replaccement underbody reinforcement plate with attached weld nut be ordered to add support to all of the mounting points.Webbing colors tend to vary from mill run to mill run therefore a match to upholstery or carpet can not be guaranteed.
Non-retractable and retractable front and non-retractable rear lap seat belts available with a vintage lift lid,standard or deluxe metal pusbutton buckle. The non-retractable lap seat belts measure approximately 60" long end to end and have fixed anchor end fittings that bolt directly to the floor. The retractor utilized on the retractable front lap seat belts is an emergency locking type that locks once pulled to the desired position.
Retrofit Retractable Lap With Harness Kits. Designed to install in a convertible front and a coupe rear that are available with a vintage lift lid,standard or deluxe metal pushbutton buckle. The kits listed include mounting hardware,installation instructions and the seat belts for two persons/positions.Matching non retractable rear lap seat belts are also listed.
Item numbers with a *indicate that all of the plastic pieces are color matched to the webbing color. Unless indicated all of the plastic pieces are black regardless of the webbing color.
