Non Retractable 1968 to 1972 Chevelle And 1968 to 1972 El Camino Front Lap Seat Belts available with a standard push button (W8202 Series), deluxe push button (8207-60 Series) and deluxe push button with GM logo buckle (W8325-74 Series). Measuring approximately 74" long end to end to be used in the front in all seating positions or in a coupe front center position when a retractable lap seat belt or lap seat belt with shoulder harness has been installed or a retrofit lap seat belt with shoulder harness is to be installed. An original style chrome "Roll-A-Belt" clip on webbing retractor is available to add retractability to the outboard side (not recommended for use on a bench center seat) of each seat belt.The standard push button buckle (W8202 Series) seat belts are also available with an optional black background with white press buckle. Contact us to order. One MH2-Z mounting kit with zinc chromate hardware is required per lap seat belt.

Non Retractable 1968 to 1972 Chevelle Rear Lap Seat Belts available with a standard push button (W8202 Series), deluxe metal push button (8207-60 Series) and deluxe metal push button with GM logo buckle (8325-60 Series). Measuring approximately 60" long end to end to be used in all rear seating positions or in the rear center position when a rear retrofit lap with harness kit is being installed. One MH2-Z mounting kit with zinc chromate hardware is required per lap seat belt.The standard push button buckle (W8202 Series) seat belts are also available with an optional black background with white press buckle. Retractable Front 1968 to 1972 Chevelle And 1968 to 1972 El Camino Lap Seat Belts available with a standard push button (W8280 Series with bench, W8273 Series with bucket) and deluxe push button (W8204 series with bench, W8285 series with bucket) buckle and utilize a compact ALR automatic locking retractor. The retractor cover is black regardless of the webbing color. One 200K mounting kit with L-bracket is required to mount the retractor upright on to the floor between the side of the seat and the door. The standard push button buckle (W8273 Series) seat belts are also available with an optional black background with white press buckle. Contact us to order.


Retrofit Retractable 1968 to 1972 Chevelle And 1968 to 1972 El Camino Coupe Or Hardtop Front Seat Belt With Shoulder Harness Kits available with the standard 2" door postextension(DPE) or an optional 8" door post extension(DPE) which lowers the webbing approximately 7 1/2" from the mounting point. Retrofit kits include mounting hardware, seat belts for two persons/positions and installation instructions. The available buckle choices are a standard push button with a red press area background, a deluxe metal push button and a deluxe metal push button with a GM logo. An optional black paintable (CVR-200) snap on full retractor cover is available for order under the mounting hardware and add-on item section of the order form.
The shoulder harness door post extension(DPE) requires the use of only one of the two factory original mounting holes.To utilize both of the factory mounting holes order a RB12-2 retrofit adapter bracket set to convert original mounting configuration to a single studattachment point. The bolts that attach the RB12-2 retrofit adapter bracket set to the body are not included. See mounting hardware and related item section to order..

Mounting Hardware And Reinforcing Plate Information;
  • Mounting hardware is included with retrofit kits.
  • When installing 3 non retractable lap seat belts on the same seat 2 mounting kits are required.
  • When installing a front or rear center non retractable lap belt in addition to a retrofit kit additional mounting hardware is not required.
  • To replace a damaged shoulder harness reinforcing plate order one RB3 reinforcing plate with attached weld nut.
  • To replace a damaged lap belt underbody reinforcing plate order one RB1-1 reinforcing plate with attached weld nut.
