When installing a seat belt where it was not previously installed or if the factory underbody reinforcement plates are damaged or missing it is suggested that an RB1-1(each) or RB1(pair) replacement underbody reinforcement plate with weld nut be used to add support to all of the mounting points.Webbing colors tend to vary from mill run to mill run therefore a match to upholstery or carpet can not be guaranteed.
1964-67 Mustang Seat Belts
Non-Retractable Lap Seat Belts: The non-retractable lap seat belts listed can be used in the front or rear and measure approximately 60" long end to end and have fixed anchor end fittings that bolt directly to the floor.An original style chrome Roll-A-Belt and a replacement black plastic clip-on webbing retractor is available to add retractability to a non-retractable front lap seat belt. One MH2B mounting kit is required per lap seat belt.
Retractable Front Lap Seat Belts:The front seat retractable lap seat belts listed utilize a compact automatic locking retractor. One 200 mounting kit which includes a L-bracket to mount the retractor upright by the side of the seat is required per belt. Matching non-retractable rear lap seat belts are also listed.
Retrofit Retractable Front And Rear Seat Belt Kits: The front retrofit retractable lap seat belt and shoulder harness kits have been designed to use as an upgrade from a non-retractable lap seat belt in a coupe or convertible. The rear seat retractable lap seat belts with shoulder harness retrofit kits are for use in a coupe only. Retrofit kits include mounting hardware,seat belts for two persons/positions and installation instructions. Matching non-retractable lap seat belts are listed to be used in the rear to match the front retrofit kits if not installing a rear retrofit kit.
Item numbers with a *indicates that all of the plastic pieces are color matched to the webbing color.Unless indicated all of the plastic pieces are black regardless of the webbing color.
