1964-67 Chevelle And El Camino Seat Belts
1964, 1965, 1966 and 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino non retractable seat belts with an original style aviator chrome lift lid release buckle with a spring hinged bright chrome lid release with metal to metal contact. The floor mounting anchor ends are bright chrome and bolt directly to the floor. An (CVR)anchor end cover that snaps on to the mounting bolt head to cover the bolt and the anchor end are available for a finished look.
All of the seat belts and related hardware are new and manufactured to meet or exceed FMVSS (U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) 209,302 and SAE 386 with most manufactured or assembled in the USA..
To offer more webbing colors than were originally available, 1964-67 Chevelle and 1964-67 El Camino seat belts are listed with webbing colors that are matched to most of the original interior or carpet colors.
In addition to the original style seat belts, a vintage lift lid and a standard and deluxe push button release buckle are also available.
All of the seat belt buckle styles are available with extended webbing lengths of 60" and 74" with most front seats requiring a 74" long seat belt and the rear requiring a 60" long seat belt.
Note: When installing a seat belt where it was not previously installed it is suggested that a retrofit mounting kit be used which include underbody reinforcement plates to add support to the mounting points. If an original underbody reinforcement plate is damaged or missing a RB1 or RB1-1 replacement underbody reinforcement plate with attached weld nut are available. Standard mounting kits or
reinforcement plates are not required when ordering a retrofit mounting kit.
Webbing colors tend to vary from mill run to mill run therefore a match to existing seat belt,upholstery or carpet can not be guaranteed.
